Explore & Develop Freshwater is located within the Harbord Diggers Precinct with easy access to fitness, hospitality, beautiful beaches, and aquatic facilities right at our doorstep.

With over 22 years of experience within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector and being a mother to four children herself, Explore & Develop's Owner-Operator, Sally, truly understands the needs of families whilst being able to understand and support the needs of staff & educators in providing the highest level of education and care for children throughout their early years.

We now have an exciting opportunity available for an amazing, innovative Early Childhood Educator to join our team in Freshwater NSW!

Your Next Opportunity:

As an innovative and capable educator, you will co-create, implement, and extend upon children's learning and development through holistic interest-based experiences. Your amazing communication and relational skills will support you in collaborating with families, children, and colleagues to ensure each child's learning, growth and well-being is nurtured. 

You’ll have flexible shift options available to you, operating on a rotating monthly roster, which will allow you to enjoy the ultimate work/life balance!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, implement and reflect upon a high-quality play-based curriculum that nurtures individual child needs and supports learning through a well-planned learning environment.
  • Maintain a safe, hygienic, and supportive environment for children with accurate records, and implement policies and procedures. 
  • Contribute positively, understand NQF and code of ethics, follow and implement policies and procedures, participate in quality improvement, maintain supportive and nurturing relationships, and stay current with best practices.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

To be considered for this role, you should currently hold a Certificate lll, Diploma or Early Childhood Degree

Note: Successful candidates must hold a NSW Working with Children Check and a ‘Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting’ Certificate.
